October 22, 2023 - Crimson-purple; blackberries, prunes, smoked meat, earth, black pepper; jammy berry/plummy, slightly peppery, glycerin, full body, decent acidity, good heat, ripe tannins, good finish
Slick Aussie shiraz with game and peppery notes. Easy-drinking with sneaky heat. Good with burgers. -

September 21, 2023 - A fruit forward nose. Black raspberries and cranberries with some earthy spices dominated the nose and palate. Rich and smooth. Easy drinking Shiraz for your daily meals. Polished edges. Almost full-bodied. Finish is smooth and fine. Drink this now quantity. Given the balance it should last for the next 5-8 years.

March 3, 2023 - Friday at the strand (Strand Cellars, Croydon): Blackberry and cherry, sweet spice, slight alcohol warmth lends peppery spice, touch of plummy fruit in support. Juicy, thickly concentrated, black fruits are a little more savoury on the palate, muted tannic burr, fruit drops off quite quickly. Hmm.
