Community Tasting Notes 3

April 4, 2024 - Floral, delicate nose with notes of fresh strawberries, fragrant red cherries, roses, tobacco leaf, and peppery spice. Ripe and fresh palate with strawberries, juicy red berries, ripe red cherries, and a slight savory edge on the finish. Perhaps some sort of toasted nut note? The tannins are round, but grainy, and the acidity is juicy, but not as punchy as like a Chianti would be. Delicate, floral, but still flexes its muscle quite a bit on the palate. The more it evolves in the glass, the more I'm starting to love this wine. Really nicely made Vino Nobile.

February 29, 2024 - Suckling Wines of the World: this proved once again that Boscarelli is one of the best producers of Vino Nobile de Montepulciano with good typicity but will need more time to show its full potential.

December 18, 2023 - Good Vino Nobile. Warm and ripe style. Ripe red fruit, cherry, strawberry, plum. Some dried herbs, brown wood spice.

Medium plus acidity, medium plus tannin but fairly round and fine. Length is medium, maybe a bit more as it opens. Tiny bit warm on the finish.

Liked it and would buy again.
