November 19, 2010 - Pale translucent orangish red. Beautiful mature perfumey nose; baking spice, dried cherries, sweet tobacco, violets, potpourri, mushroom. Medium bodied and soaring acidity with raspberry, spice, tar, bitter cherry. Darkened substantially with air. Stunning pairing with sage brown butter squash gnocchi. Unbelievable, this is why I collect wine. Drink now.
