Nowhere near as brilliant as last time - bottle variation? Or was it the company of the l'Étoile wines?

August 16, 2023 - Has the acidity of a Jura wine to start with. No defaults at all on this natrual wine. Lots of pears, not so much honey and pollen on the finish. Fair wine for the price paid.

February 25, 2023 - A private tasting (Buurtcafé De Tros, Amsterdam, NL): Very precise, playful and elegant, floral and light on its feet, earth and minerals, lovely fleshy texture buffers bright acidity, ripe orchard fruit (peach, pear), wonderfully elegant and flowing, dancing almost, silky and polished, hint of flower honey, exceptional finish. Even better on the second day.
