March 22, 2024 - Nice entry level Barolo, good to go after a 1 hour decant. Nothing very special, everything decent and in place. Good QPR for the region.

January 21, 2024 - Walkaround tasting so just short notes: Beautiful and expressive bouquet with impressions of forest floor and earth. Good acidity and tannin and a good length. Very young maturity stage and will probably improve over the next 4+ years. 90 - 91+

December 7, 2023 - Agree 100% with rickpicks note below. But let’s start at the beginning. Decanted for three hours in the morning, poured over dinner. Medium to light garnet colour. Raisiny red fruit notes, dried cherry, blood orange, rose water, and spices are joined by spearmint on the finish, with medium-plus acidity, round tannin, and good length. The alcohol is warming and feels higher that the indicated 14.5% ABV. Overall, the wine lacks freshness, and looks, smells and tastes much older than it actually is. It most certainly will not age well, and I would drink now and over the next five years.

November 16, 2023 - This tastes like an entr-level Barolo that I found to drink older than its age. The fruits tasted a bit dried-out and lacking vibrancy, freshness and richness. The flavors that are there are appropriate - cherry and spice, but I don't see this as a 92 point wine.

November 2, 2023 - Drank two bottles with maya and Liz on a Thursday evening with spaghetti balognese. Lovely!
A bit of grapefruit bitterness on the taste.
