April 1, 2024 - What a balanced stunning wine! I’m going to Conspire with the other reviewers… that this is an outstanding Wine …. with a few other descriptors. A bit of rich black licorice, sweet Olallieberry jam, and juicy Logan Berry.
At the $40 price point .. one of the most satisfying CNP of the year.

February 10, 2024 - Ruby red slippers in color. Nose show mild funk which dissipates immediately, serious emanations follow. Such a perfect balance of ripe fruit, fresh juice notes, round concentration, all the correct Rhone tastes. After three days open (non fridge) more depth and grip. It cannot be an easy task to capture intensity, maintain elegance, and offer pure drinking pleasure. Bless the winemaker!

November 5, 2023 - A great wine, smooth and unobtrusive, would buy again.

September 6, 2023 - From a bottle that had been decanted through a Vinturi aerator three hours prior, this wine was subsequently sampled over the ensuing two hours (during which time the aromatic and flavor profiles remained stable). It is a deep garnet blend of 70% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 15% Mourvèdre that serves up an intense array of dark bramble fruits, Morello cherries, orange zest, Provençal herbs, mulling spices and loamy earth. Medium-bodied, low-to-medium in acidity and with well-integrated alcohol (despite being listed as a lofty 15.5%), it wraps its flavors with midweight, silky-textured tannins and a modicum of oak. Dense in the middle and lengthy on the back end, this is a Châteauneuf that has no rough edges. It should be at its best throughout the remainder of this decade. Drink now-2030.
