February 19, 2024 - This bottle is equivalent to a reserve. Color was good but nose smelled just a tiny bit off. On tasting it, this wine had a hint of cork taint but was still tasting okay. You only noticed the wines shortcomings on the short finish palate wise and at a nice wine dinner was a mild disappointment given the winemaker and pedigree. Have one last bottle of Egelhoff that I will look to try to enjoy soon. Hope the other one faired better than this bottle.
