August 28, 2023 - Solid Estate Chardonnay from Hudson with oak, butterscotch, stone fruit and good acidity. Not as complex as some prior vintages, but distinctive flavor profile nonetheless. Some hazelnut essence as well.

August 27, 2023 - Appearance: Golden blonde color
Nose: lemon, apple, butter and vanilla
Palate: Vibrant acidity and subtle butter and oak. Lemon and vanilla cream.
Hudson Vineyards might be my favorite producer for Chardonnay in Napa. This is quite as good as the 2019 but it is still really good. A bold but balanced wine. -

May 29, 2023 - A perfect wine to accompany a beautiful Memorial Day holiday. Pale golden in color and medium weight. Nice aromatics with a bit of floral and orchard fruit. The palate gave more orchard fruit, touches of oak, and some tropical influence. This gets better as it warms in the glass. Great on its own or with food. A superior vintage for a perennial favorite.

May 20, 2023 - This is an outstanding vintage for the Hudson Estate Chardonnay. More finesse and a bit lighter approach than historical vintages. Purity of fruit with ripe notes of citrus, pineapple and white nectarine. Nice acidity and seemingly a bit less oak impact and influence. Clean, bright and delightful. Great flavor profile.
