  October 9, 2023 - Le Tour de Champagne Tasting (Olofskapel, Amsterdam, NL): Trade tasting, brief note. Classic house style, rich and complex flavours, lovely balance, youthful bitters, fresh and firm, very good length. Excellent wine, would really benefit from a few years' bottle age.

  March 20, 2023 - Belle robe jaune. Nez agréable, encore pas trop brioché mais sur un fruit frais. La bouche est franche, fraiche et digeste. Très belles bulles.

  July 29, 2022 - Very much in the house style, fruit-driven, soft contours with moderate acidity (undergoes malolactic fermentation), gentle fine bubbles and noticeable sweetness, however, due to its power quite a notch above the Deutz standard cuvée. A hedonistic champagne, possessing considerable chalky minerality, but cloaked in beautifully ripe pinot fruit. Other champagnes have more grip and racyness (Jacquesson Nr. 743 also from 2015 comes to my mind), this here features a more baroque balance without being ponderous. It is imminently drinkable and delicious.
