  November 18, 2023 - The Amises should have a party (Our house): Really didn't show too well, and nothing like previous bottles of this. Had hitherto been a real crowd-pleaser, but on this occasion seemed shrill and ungenerous, and was overshadowed by the other two sparklers. Don't think it was flawed, though it was certainly disappointing.

  October 28, 2023 - This is my fourth bottle and it was really good. Light golden in colour. Red apple peel, citrus and a hint of brioche on the nose. Full bodied and explosive with a thoroughly satisfying mouthfeel. There's great length as ever.

  September 8, 2023 - Pale to mid straw. Nicely fresh, quite light and floral on the nose, the Cramant element to the fore. Some mid-palate depth, the seven years on the lees contributing a touch of autolysis and some nice crème pat richness. I don’t get the likeness to Krug suggested in some previous notes, but maybe that’s different disgorgements or bottle variation. Some weight and substance here. Will be interesting to see how this develops. Lovely. ****

  August 31, 2023 - My WOTN: beautiful sweet, delicate balance. Spiced and floral, white blossom nose. White marzipan, saturated confit lemon. Concentration without weight on the palate, great finish. Fantastic.
