July 5, 2021 - Rich and mature as would be expected. On opening the fruit is still the forward presence on the palate. Nothing special but was nice with BBQ.

April 4, 2020 - Black fruit still present, oakiness. Smooth thru medium finish.

December 9, 2019 - Dark reddish-purple in color with slight clearing at the edges. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of dark cherries, blackberries & black plums with overtones of earthy/dusty & herbal notes of fennel & some floral notes, some pepper, minerals & a hint of vanilla/oak in the background. Full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, jammy, ripe fruit flavors of sweet dark cherries, blackberries & dark plums with herbs, spices, minerals & a hint of vanilla/oak. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & airing but at 16 years of age, it is close to or at its peak of development. Much richer, smoother & complex than its stable mate, the Lily's Garden.

October 12, 2018 - Nice Bella's. Took 2 hours for the acidity to regulate. Dark, black fruits and licorice. The wine is cinnamon spice, dark chocolate and black fruit rich. Middle is rich, thick, and at first quite acidic but after 2 hours it really improved. Finished with a lot of personality and even quite a bit of tannin. Very impressed with this wine and definitely doesn't have a 15 yr old feel to it. Can go another 15 yr easy. If you have some of these, don't be in any hurry to drink them but they are drinking well now!

September 28, 2017 - Still drinking great.....no noticeable change from our last tasting note almost 2 years ago. Drink now or continue to hold.
