  September 18, 2012 - Holy moley, this is luscious! The nose is deep, minty blackberry. The flavors are round, full dark berry and bell pepper. The finish goes waaaaay on. But the outstanding bonus here is the mouth feel. I'm a dedicated spitter for tasting, but this is one wine I would HAVE TO SWALLOW. The only thing that keeps it from being 95+ is complexity; needs a little bacon or leather or pencil shavings or asphalt or manhole cover. Anyway, whatever, this is GOOD wine! Glad I have one more...

  May 3, 2010 - Based in no small part on Jasong's April 04 tasting note, I decided to open one of these tonight. As he noted in has aged very nicely, which had been my hope. Earthy and dark blackberry (sans sugar ...). Lots of good flavor early, mid and after. I will be saving the rest a bit longer - just because it still seems to be improving. I love these guys.

  April 4, 2010 - Aged nicely, very rich. Nose is wonderfully floral, with earth and dark fruit. Taste is lush, every dark berry you can think of, with fine structure and edgy tannins. Could sit longer, but boy it's drinking really nicely now. Another winner from WWV.
