November 1, 2016 - Red fruit, cherry cola and spice on the nose. Surprisingly bright for its age. cherry and a hint of raisin on the palate with a well balanced acid and fully integrated tannins. The finish has a lingering tobacco note that lasts for satisfying length. Really in a good spot right now, glad I have more.

August 25, 2013 - Surprise! Beautiful garnet color, reticent nose but there is some red fruit and a bit of cinnamon there. Silky mouthfeel, cherries, bramble, a bit of granularity and a little espresso on the long finish. I had no idea this wine could reward extra patience.

April 18, 2009 - Wow. Bought this bottle on a wine tasting trip and forgot how good it is. light purple color. Classic SRH aroma. Lushious taste and mouth feel. Long finish. Just great fruit and balance.
