March 9, 2024 - Medium-bodied, earthy, vibrant, and focused on its core of flowers, espresso, chocolate-covered plums, black raspberries, and a sprig of mint, the wine lacks the intensity, and concentration found in the more recent, exalted vintages. Still, there is a lot to love here with its regal airs, silky-tannins, and lush, supple, polished, vibrant, creamy-textured finish. This is really quite strong, especially when you consider the difficulties in the vintage. Drink from 2025-2050.

Der Auftakt ist straff, konzentriert, markante Struktur, relativ viel Tannin, dieses kontert die satte Frucht, die Elemente sind in sehr guter Balance. May 20, 2022 - Deep garnet in color, the wine opens with flowers, chocolate, truffles, licorice, espresso, dark plums, and red pit fruits. Plush, soft, and polished on the palate, with supple-textured, silky fruits in the elegant and almost flamboyant, sensuous finish. This is really quite strong, especially when you consider the difficulties in the vintage. The wine blends 95% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot. The harvest took place September 23 - October 6. Drink from 2025-2049. 93-95
