  January 27, 2024 - Deep, rich, dark, powerful, old woodsy herbs past their prime-like the thym leaves that fall off the stems and die like fall leaves do-that same wet leaf fall essence. Yet still has a bright acidity and puckering tannins.

  July 22, 2023 - Amazingly, I cannot recollect ever tasting a Madiren, however I have tasted with great satisfaction domestic versions of Tannat This bottle was quite good, terroir driven, but balanced. Not overly tannic suggesting an early sipper, wine begged for food and paired nicely with grilled hanger steak and wild mushroom strudel.
