March 16, 2024 - Nose of apricots, flat white peaches, elderflower, whip cream, gooseberry, shaved almonds, carambar and dusty sucre vanillé. Cantaloupe and chamomile 1h in.
Palate is nicely textured and length is decent. Minerality comes through true and defined.
If tested blind, would have guessed meursault or hidden bench felseck chard. Unlike any sauv. blanc I’ve ever had. For ref. 68/32 sauv to sémillon. Paired nicely with a loaded brioche bun croque monsieur.
