September 25, 2023 - PnP. Medium light red. Medium to light bodied on the palate but lovely balance and weight for Barbera. Perhaps not great QPR as the Italian versions are much cheaper and have more depth. But very enjoyable nevertheless.

July 14, 2023 - Steely, but also supple. Not sure it’s totally balanced but it has amazing brightness and acidity. Perfect for food, which is all you can ask from an Italian varietal. Nice work!

May 21, 2023 - 14.2% abv. Medium ruby, expensive aromatics. Black and red cherry, sage and mint on the palate with good acidic structure. Medium depth, good length, well balanced. Expressive fruit comes across as somewhat Zin-like. Enjoyable now and over the near term.

February 20, 2023 - 60 minute decant. Sweet red raspberry aromas with violets, rose water, and mulberry. Palate delivers blackberry pie and black raspberry fruit with unusual accents of cream soda, thistle, fresh thyme, and dried rosemary. Plump, soft tannins on the finish with black cherry and red licorice. Fun wine to pair with a mushroom risotto.
