December 1, 2022 - So pure. Textbook Syrah. Expressive nose, plenty of olives here, tar, black fruit, minerals galore. Fine tannin. Wait a couple of years, at least.

September 23, 2022 - Stunning Syrah from a "cool" vintage in Stellenbosch. From a south-facing, sloped, highly-granitic vineyard. Could almost be fooled into thinking this is quite a high-end northern Rhone wine tasting blind. Varietally correct: dark-fruited, peppery, savory. Smells like exactly what it is. Shows restraint but with tons of grip. Long life ahead of it.
