March 30, 2024 - Likely already the 2024 QPR winner in our house in just March. This was part of our Washington Wine Wednesday series. At $22.50 also one of our least expensive bottles. From my notes the all Caps “MUST BUY MORE” says a lot. If you love Rocks District “funk” but find them to be pricey, this is a great find. Allegedly made by a Cayuse owner girlfriend, this is 70% straight ahead Rocks Syrah blended with 30% Grenache, that smooths out an otherwise funky rambunctious wine. Nose of Rocks funk, mushroom, hints of big flavors and some red fruits. Taste shows a significant Rocks funk in the mouth. The Grenache helps transition this to a smooth finish. This is a stunning wine that equals every Washington wine we own. But almost all of these other wines are 2x to 3x more expensive. If you enjoy Rocks District wines, seek this out.

March 1, 2024 - It may be Columbia Valley AVA, but there’s plenty of Rocks fruit in there.

January 3, 2024 - Rare that i write a review while I'm drinking the wine, but it was interesting reading the previous reviews. My take............if you prefer "fruit forward" wine (which many nights I do) - then this is not something you're going to think is special.
But as Clark says below, this is a QPR winner.
Although this is labeled Columbia Valley, it clearly has a good bit of Rocks fruit from WW.
V - Clear medium ruby with just under medium meniscus and high viscosity.
N - Savory/Rocks Meat/Salinity/Chalk & Slate
P - Consistent with Nose. Fruit takes a back seat here, but as you drink it, you can feel the fruit on the back of the sled keeping you on course - just delicious. Almost like the vigneron is french. (Ha! - and loved the Cayuse ref in one of the reviews!).
Dry, near full-bodied, Med+ acid, 14+ all, fine medium but present tannins, near long finish and Med+ complexity as it swirls.

October 24, 2023 - A very pleasant surprise. PnP and it immediately grabbed me. Bright, complex, and very drinkable. A brilliant daily drinker. A definite reorder.
