July 31, 2016 - Terrific nose of star anise, spice & red fruits. The palate has a bit going on - developed flavours coming through with a good balance of fruit. Plenty of length on it too. I really enjoyed this - good drinking now but it will go a couple more years. Much more interesting now than in 2014 when I opened my first bottle of this.

January 2, 2014 - Nice bright nose - floral, raspberry & cherries. Medium bodied, again enjoyed the fruit on the palate, but not the most complex of wines. Good acidity makes it a wine that will go well with food. An enjoyable drink now, but it didn't wow me.

The wine still needs aging. It was not very forthcoming to begin with, but clearly became better as time went by. Wait to drink it to at least 2014.
