Community Tasting Notes 5

November 1, 2023 - Balanced and pleasant. This vintage is a good example of this wine.

August 30, 2023 - White flowers, nectarines and honeydew melon with a hint of salinity on the nose. A light body brings a crisp lime juice acidity through the palate. Long finish of citrus rind bitterness and fresh minerality.

July 27, 2023 - Acid plus but well structured with nice bouquet of white flowers. and melon, medium to full body. Held up to food very well.

April 27, 2023 - PnP, chilled, but better after 15 minutes of air. Some stone fruit and citrus on the nose. These carry over to the palate along with some green apple, crisp acidity and some lemon pith on the finish. A reasonable version of Albarino that should hold for a couple of years.

March 25, 2023 - Grapefruit, beeswax and a touch of lime on the nose. Light bodied, lots of acidity, with flavors of peach, melon, and orange pith. The finish has a decent length and primarily consists of the slightly bitter orange pith note. A basic, prototypical Albariño with everything you’d expect and nothing more. I would keep this for food pairing as opposed to just casual drinking. I see this pairing beautifully with a citrus marinated grouper filet.
