December 27, 2023 - Decanted 2+ hours and matched up with a 2011 Corliss Red. Obviously very different with 8 years of separation but Long Shadows never disappoints. Wine is young and vibrant. Will mature and soften and get even better with time. Very enjoyable.

October 26, 2022 - From Long Shadows: A beautifully dark and concentrated wine with wonderful aromatics. The mouthfeel is soft and lush on entry with sweet spice that becomes rich on the wine’s mid-palate. Fresh fig and ripe plum flavors are interwoven with notes of graphite and an alluring earthiness. It is a flavorful and structured wine with a silky, textured mouthfeel and vibrant finish.
