January 6, 2009 - clear, transluscent, ruby, ppr, wwm (thicker band) tears f/f nose: med+, a bit grapey, candied very fresh red berries such as cherries, raspberries, slight vanilla, some sense of tannins indicating oak aging palate: dry, acid med+ tannin is low+, body is med, alc is est 13.5 and in reality 12.5, length med+ finish of fresh berries with vanilla flav intensity is med + flavs include bright ripe red berries and vanilla pair with lightly sauced or poached fish, salads, some cheeses ... an extremely pleasant wine, even as an aperatif.
