January 14, 2024 - 100% PN, 0 dosage. This will sound like a heresy but I prefer the cheaper, leaner entry level BdN from Fleury than this. Bolero is fatter and richer but loses to the pristine, precise, relentless fruit and minerals of the base BdN. It's like Bolero is Fleury's attempt to compete with the big boys, except it really can't -- it's quite short, for one. On the redeeming side, a crazy smoked meat on the nose, got the entire room intrigued. One of the richer champagnes I actually recommend a bit on the colder side.
