March 18, 2024 - Maybe the best of these that I have enjoyed to date. Lovely red cherry core with a silky, smooth delivery. Bright red fruit with medium weight that presents an elegant wine. Balanced and integrated and drinking beautifully at this point. Plenty of road ahead as well. This one does demonstrate a premium experience compared to their normal line-up, but still not light years better.

October 10, 2023 - This settled in since the last bottle. Deeper flavor, great on the palate and lasting finish. Dark fruit with greater complexity and diversity than prior bottle. I think this will lay down for quite a bit longer. Very nice bottle.

June 11, 2023 - Very good, but not significantly better than some of their other offerings. Likely needs some additional time to continue to evolve. Soft red fruit with lively aromas and nice lift. Medium weight. Drinking nicely at this juncture but thinking it will have a further upside.

August 18, 2022 - The 2020 vintage: delicious, concentrated fruit with lots of complexity and structure. The deep garnet wine starts with an effusion nose of fresh blue fruit and red fruit with warm oak notes. On the palate tightly woven black raspberry and Bing cherry flavors up front lead to fresh pomegranate on the finish. The concentrated fruit flavors are infused with wonderful baking spice flavors and caramel. The mouthfeel is lush and expansive with mouthwatering acidity creating a compelling mouthful of wine all the way through a super long finish.
Can be appreciated on its own, but spring lamb or pork, cooked with herbs and mushrooms would make a heroic pairing.1 person found this helpful Comment
