July 29, 2017 - Very good, last bottle and similar comments to April 2017.
Has aged quite well, and is a classic Californian Zin in many respects. 14.5% alc.
    Colour: dark red berry
Bouquet: cereal character, raspberry, rich red berries, spice, vanilla oak
Palate: ripe rich red berries, black cherries, savoury spices and white pepper characters, chocolate, soft full tannins, medium bodied, very sharp astringency, long clean finish. Easy drinkin.

April 11, 2017 - Very good wine, aging really well. 14.5% alc.
    Colour: dark red berry
Bouquet: cereal character, raspberry, rich red berries, spice
Palate: ripe rich red berries, black cherries, savoury spices and white pepper characters, chocolate, soft full tannins, medium bodied, velvety, long clean finish. Easy drinking, still quite viscose.

June 18, 2013 - Dark color, nose of raspberries, smoke and jerky. Loads of chocolate raspberries which fade after the first hour; giving way to spice and darker fruits. Tannins well integrated and drinking well. Lots of sediment so decanting is advised.

November 26, 2012 - Dark purple color with violet rim. The nose is straightforward and youthful with blackberry and plums. On the palate, there was dark fruit and a whiff of tobacco. Structurally, the acidity is a little low and the tannins are drying, but it does have a plush mouthfeel. Overall it is simple but honestly made.

April 29, 2012 - Decanted and began drinking. Solid. Nice wine. Not as complex as a really good zin that has matured beyond fruit-bomb, but very enjoyable.
