May 28, 2023 - Real Review - Top Wineries of Australia (Ovolo, Wooloomooloo): Slightly funky, stuck match, a little red fruit, strawberry, cranberry, slightly cherry behind this. Juicy, fleshy, struck match on the palate, tightly textured tannins. Hmm.

May 28, 2023 - Real Review Top Wineries tasting (Ovolo Hotel Woolloomooloo): {13.5%, screwcap, $75} Earth and cherry, soil and dirt. There’s always been something mushroomy and elemental about this cuvee right from the start in my view. The palate turns out to be much more floral in character, with red fruit characters too. Soft oak. Very young. Medium weight, medium acid, medium length finish. Way too young – will be better at eight years old when it’s all come together.
