April 10, 2021 - Nice dark coloring with no bricking on the rim. The nose redolent with cherry had some hints of red fruits (raspberry in particular) and a touch of vanilla. The taste profile included the aforementioned red fruit, but a touch of spice and some rhubarb. Delicious and no decline since 2019.

February 3, 2019 - The wine had a nice dark color with no bricking on rim. A nose of cherries, lots of cherries. Flavors included the aforementioned cherries, raspberry some spice and a hint of rhubarb. Very smooth with no tannins cluttering up the flavors. Probably peaking!

October 23, 2013 - Excellent pinot with a good nose. Very drinkable with or without food.

March 31, 2012 - Good. Not worth the price. Vanilla and smoke on the nose. Dark cherry fruit. High acidity.

September 15, 2011 - This wine was good but not great. The fruit was mostly gone and it tasted light with strong wood notes.

(The Four Graces Pinot Noir Reserve Black Family Estate) Darker color than I’d expect from any Pinot: rich, blood-velvet red. Crisp acidity balanced by a soft mouthfeel. Sour cherry emerges from a background of bitter orange. Sherry: History by the Glass
