December 24, 2010 - Some oak, cooked black cherry fruit notes on the nose. Some tannin in the mouth, not green. Slightly dry on the finish. Fading? Pleasant. Over the following hour, more cheery notes came to the fore, the fruit improved. After another 45 minutes the components began to disintegrate. Altogether a well-balanced wine, albeit small scale. Drinking well now and for the next couple of years. VG. 16.5/20
