Nose: ripe red cherry, vanilla, leather and tobacco, dill, mushrooms
Palate: medium-high acidity, medium tannins from the barrel judging on the peesistence, this is medium bodied. The oak notes really jump out here
Finish: long
This is well made wine that isn't my cup of tea. I had this out the bottle and with hours of air and it still had a barrell presence that I found overpowering. I would say this needs years to settle1 person found this helpful Comment -
