  July 14, 2023 - Fine nose with black fruit, mocha and pepper. Intense and rich palate with syrup and more pepper. Also a lovely sweetness and smooth with a fine finish where the structure kicks in.
  This is quite impressive and you really feel the syrah.
  Olivier is situated in the small village Villes-sur-Auzon and this is the best Amidyves i have had, although its some years ago i was here last time. Really an improvement and wish i had bought more.

  February 15, 2023 - Not ready to drink yet but since I was able to secure a second case I thought I'd open a bottle for science. Magenta rim and a nearly black core. Blackberry, sandalwood, honey, lavender, green olive, tar. Grippy tannins will need a couple years to soften but this lacks sufficient acidity for long term cellaring. Wait 2.5 years and then drink all of it. 89 points today but I'm quite optimistic, hopefully almost as good as the '15.
