Silky and easy-drinking. Less colour and finish than expected from vintage. Good. -

February 22, 2023 - Red berry and toasty sweet-spice nose. Medium-bodied, flavourful and balanced palate with slick glycerin and spice characteristics on the finish.

December 23, 2022 - Plump, ripe and fresh. Plums, dark cherries, raspberries, dark chocolate, a bit of wood spice and vanilla, mint, violets. Nicely balanced, concentrated and structured. Probably could use a year or two to soften and open. Decanted 2 hrs and still felt a bit firm.
