  October 31, 2023 - Colore rosso granato scarico. Il bouquet è variegato e di rara finezza: inizialmente prevalgono note floreali di rosa e di violetta, piccoli frutti rossi e note terziarie di cuoio, per poi aprirsi verso una maggiore freschezza, con profumi di scorza di arancia e note balsamiche di menta e liquirizia. In bocca esprime freschezza e, allo stesso tempo, austerità; la notevole struttura è bilanciata da una piacevole acidità e da una elegante trama tannica, fitta e setosa. Grande sapidità e persistenza nel finale.

  September 19, 2023 - Piedmont tasting: Wow this was a doppelgänger for the Roagna. Feminine, floral style with deep cherry fruit. Thought this was the Roagna at first but the ladies at the table guessed the last wine as the Roagna, which confirmed my hypothesis that they can always tell which is the better (or more expensive) wine! In hindsight, a little more structure than the Roagna but had the same supreme balance. Great discovery.

  September 19, 2023 - Medium nose intensity with notes of red fruits, cherry, roses, spices. Medium+ acidity and high tannin. Tannin is fine and not grippy. Can drink now or cellar for improvement. Still youthful.

  July 28, 2023 - Cascina delle Rose Barbaresco Tre Stelle 2019.
  Forførende nese med super-clean frukt av høy kvalitet, florale toner og lekker spice.
  Nydelig slank munnfølelse men ikke uten dybde.
  Svært leken og elegant i munn.
  Lettbeint intensitet med god konsentrasjon og en pen nerve.
  Nydelig balanse.
  Blodfersk, men åpner seg fint i glasset.
  Finishen sitter som et skudd med de fineste tanniner.
  En strålende Barbaresco! 92-93p

  Beautiful floral nose. Roses, cherry fruit, and balsam lovely. More structured than the 20. More materie and depth, if a little less mystery. Very long. Lots of potential. 94+
