March 26, 2024 - Grandes Maisons Grands Crus - Grands Jours de Bourgogne 2024 (Santenay): Another very fruity wine that was not to my liking. Too floral for a serious chardonnay.

January 26, 2024 - Wonderful nose of lemon and green apple which is rounded out with hints of white flowers and pastry, with a subtle smoky note. On the palette, the lemon and apple are joined by refined minerality and acidity creating a terrific mouthfeel. Drinking great now, with plenty of improvement to come.

August 2, 2023 - superb... so good... aromas of pastry, oysters, salty sea air, mirabelle, yellow apple, lemon candy, a little white flowers too... full and deeply textured, structured and built for the long haul, a little tannic and grippy, strong acid line, intense stony character, too young, needs a few years, and probably best in 8 to 10 years....
