May 28, 2023 - Real Review - Top Wineries of Australia (Ovolo, Wooloomooloo): Struck match reductiveness, polished oak lends sweet spice, muted stone fruit. Juicy, fleshy, tangy with a little citrus underpin, stone fruit, oaky, fleshy, slight alcohol warmth on the finish. This needs another year to more to knit together but I'm concerned by the alcohol.

Spicy palate, with some malo character evident. Full-bodied for chardonnay. Medium acidity, long finish. It’s pretty full-throttle, but my, how it all hangs together. Think RR gave it their No 1 chardonnay from the years’ tasting – no argument from me.

May 21, 2023 - Interesting to taste it alongside the single vineyard 2021 Willowlake and Henk. These show the lovely flavour lift of the 2021 vintage and, by comparison, this 2020 looks a little lacking. I await the 2021 864.

January 12, 2023 - Fine, tight, beautifully structured. Great fruit/oak complexity.
Rich, complex, very young. Dave Bignell reportedly says 15-20 years for it.
