March 24, 2019 - Drinking nicely. Slightly brown color. Earthy nose, maybe a bit of mineral. Muted fruit, not a powerhouse but with food the charm of this wine really shows. Lovely finish, easy to drink. Drink now.

May 3, 2014 - Clear rich ripe flavour. Instantly likeable Burgundy without being sweet, alcoholic or concocted. That said the ripeness does veer into the fruitcake plummy spectrum - flavours that remind me of many New Zealand Pinot Noirs.

Very good but lacks complexity, and how high you rate it will depend on how much you like flavours this ripe.

    Drink now. Cork. 13.5%

December 31, 2013 - I'm going to paraphrase Mrbuzz. "Beautiful earthy mushroom, rose petal, veggie garden nose. Wonderful mouth feel, silky smooth and pretty....sweet dusty cherry, strawberry fruit,.... florals." All I can add is a touch of horse. Not a powerful or foursquare wine and great value at sub £30.

May 26, 2013 - Red fruits (cherries and strawberries) still predominant on nose and palate with some oak and very smooth tannins. Not overly complex but well balanced and structured. Not going to develop much more, drink in the coming year.

November 11, 2010 - Burgs with the fellas (Galletto Ristorante, Modesto Ca.): Beautiful earthy mushroom, rose petal, veggie garden nose! Wonderful mouth feel, silky smooth and pretty....sweet dusty cherry, strawberry fruit, cinnamon stick, florals. This screams for wild mushroom risotto!
