  May 20, 2023 - First bottle from a Garagiste Mystery 2021 Rose case purchase. As others have pointed out, this is good, but not particularly exciting. AOC regulations for Cheverny rose wines require at least 60% Pinot Noir with the remainder being comprised of Gamay, Cabernet Franc, or Cot (Malbec); back label indicates this is 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Gamay. Reflects a deep pink color; simple aroma and flavor profile reveals light red florals, candied strawberry, crushed cherry juice, and a distant note of wet, red granite. Shows more expression as it warms in the glass and aerates. Lingering acidity supports a medium finish.

  Nose - strawberry candy in those wrappers that make them look like little strawberries, bright cherry, spring florals, jasmine
  Palate - strawberry, light vegetal note, apricot, tart cherry finish, slight medicinal taste on finish
  Other - salmon pink, good acidity, 60% pinot noir and 40% gamay, great aromas but light on palate

  September 14, 2022 - This was another Garagiste best Rose of 2021. It is a Pinot Noir Rose, so not too common an option. It is very nice, medium pink hue and fairly long lasting. As my wife said, not her favourite Rose but very nice.
