Community Tasting Notes 1

  • Beerzebub Likes this wine:

March 13, 2024 - P&p. But a touch carbonated so decanted; at its best after two hours in the decanter. Quite aromatic, with some VA but it works, seeming to amplify the other aromas. Raspberry- and mulberry-like red and dark fruit with berry seeds, stems and leaves, stony earth, black pepper and streaks of smoke, meat and general savoriness, and vinegar. Similar flavors, with a lot of acidity, bordering on sour. Tasty, characterful, fun wine. I wouldn't have guessed this is Cab Franc, but that's alright.
