Community Tasting Notes 5

  • jnewman77 Likes this wine:

March 27, 2024 - This was very good; fresh and full of minerality and salinity on the nose with yellow apple and green pear, a hint of lemon; acacia blossom and a hint of petrichor; the palate is really lovely with great energy and a lovely sense of balance. Very drinkable now, but with some upside. Closed with diam 10

February 5, 2024 - Sizable, real density on the palate with good purity - “quaffable” even! Quite tasty with good aging prospects.

October 24, 2023 - Excellent wine! Another bottle from my stash and continues to impress each time

September 30, 2023 - Opened 2 more bottles - fantastic wine. This is excellent village level from a top village and producer no doubt about it.

September 17, 2023 - Beautiful nose. Minerality, lite oak notes

Palate is fresh, well balanced, not sharp minerality and tartness. Lite hints of oak and as it opens Granny Smith apple sweetness. Subtle lemon notes.

Wonderful wine. Easy drinking and fantastic Puligny village wine.
