September 10, 2019 - If you have them, drink them. Starting to lose its fruit.
Lovely fine mousse. -

October 6, 2017 - The wine pours a beautiful pinkish salmon color with a very fine stream of bubbles. The color is beguiling and the nose is just as captivating. On first whiff, the bouquet consists of currants, mint, eucalyptus, minerals, and nail varnish. On the palate, the wine enters with a delicate mousse thanks to the effervescence. This is then balanced by copious amounts of bone-dry minerals and laser-focused, angular acidity. The flavors are extremely dry, raspy even. There are a lot of sugarcane, finger limes, mint, shiso and blackcurrant skins. The finish is somewhat muted and the wine ends in an astringent, angular style. True to its style, this is definitely extra brut. Perhaps this is just my preference, but I would prefer a bit more broad opulence to keep this interesting. As it is now, it is a good summer sipper with a beautiful color. But that may be it. Not my style. Look elsewhere if you prefer pinot-driven champagnes.

June 10, 2017 - I wonder if this bottle was a little off. The producer uses every little sulfur. The producer adds still Pinot noir to to a Chardonnay base. On the palate it seemed a little dumb.

June 9, 2017 - Opened by Mark. A light orange rose color. The nose was a little weedy. Solid bead. Notes of strawberries, stones and a distinct vegetal note. 85 points.

December 16, 2016 - Disgorgement: April 2014. Really lovely at this stage. A bit mellower but with texture and nice, fresh fruit but dry and mineral, as I like it. Excellent with smoked salmon and other holiday nibbles.
