November 15, 2023 - Scala Wines grower champagne tasting (67 Pall Mall, London): Another standout, really nice. Apple pie, toasty nose with ripe red fruit and yellow fruit. Some oak. Peach, baked apricot, yellow apple, some spice. Wanted more.

October 21, 2023 - Pours a salmon hue, resembling a Rosé in the glass. Somewhat aggressive bubbles, with no aromas in the nose at all. At first, this is notably bitter and extremely linear on the palate. (This needs about an hour of air to allow the fruit to show). Once it starts to take in oxygen, notes of orange rind, strawberry water, sea spray, lemon pith, and pebbles emerge. Finished a bit clipped, but with the fruit pushing through enough to ingratiate and make for a favorable back end delivery.

Leave this alone for another 3+ years, or be sure to let it breathe in the glass, or better yet, decant. 92-93 point potential. I think this will be a tick above the 2017 Mont Martin, but a step or three behind the 2016.

February 11, 2023 - Loved it. Of the Blancs de meuniers I've had, this was the best - especially at this price.
Golden colour with lively bubbles. The oak is definately identified on the nose bringing forth a zingy butterscotch character with subdued honey, but without hiding the classic fruity Meunier character and sharp freshness.
The low dosage and blocked malolactic fermentation for such a young wine initially had me worried - far too many young extra brut champagnes try too hard with low dosage in my opinion, and end up becoming unbalanced and unpleasant. Had I not known here, I wouldn't have guessed it this low, and while it is a bit tart, I think a bit of time in the bottle will round off the remaining edges, and this champagne might be even better.
Unfortunately I think that the 57 euro price mark that I got this bottle at will be history soon 😅

December 23, 2022 - At Assiette Champenoise dinner. Another wine in the very elegant spectrum with fine bubbles. Light orange color. Notes of red fruits mix with citrus and bruised apples. Feels almost like a rosé. Beautiful.
