April 3, 2024 - Aromas of red fruit, cedar, citrus, and earthy notes, this has sour cherries, orange peel, cranberry and red currants on the palate, flowing to a very long finish. Vibrant acidity, medium body, finely grained tannins. This wine is light, juicy, fresh and well balanced. An easy drinker. Good qpr.

December 11, 2023 - This comment summarizes several bottles, although there have been exceptions. In general great Rioja character with concentration and fruit, red, juicy, but good balance, the tannins don't attack.

May 28, 2023 - Deep ruby color. Aromas show fresh red cherries and wild raspberries, along with enticing notes of tobacco, sage, fallen leaves, leather, smoky earth. Medium-bodied, fresh acidity, zesty even, with smooth tannins and a crushable but complex feel. The black cherries, juicy raspberries, strawberry jam fruit mix well with nuances of leather, tar, dried roses and violets, tobacco, roasted red pepper. A lot of fun, but shows balance and complexity, too.
