July 30, 2022 - Inky dark core and a youthful purple hue. Fragrant nose offering mild oak and toast with ripe dark berries, cassis, violet and gingerbread spice. The palate is stylish and pure with concentrated and fresh dark fruit, present but grainy tannin, good layers - an elegant and dense example with a long lingering finish. Still youthful but a fine potential for development. TASTED BLIND

June 4, 2022 - Saturated purple in colour with crimson rim. Revealing nose with herbal top notes over hefty mulberry and black currant. There is a barnyard edge that adds to its complexity. Assertive and mouth-filling but not agressive at all. The finish shows pounded black berries with shades of spices, sweet and savoury. Long, persisting finish.
