  April 5, 2024 - 30 minutes after decanting there's freshly-hewn wood on the nose along with graphite and blackish blue fruit. Palate is completely fruit driven, a bit watery and lacking structure or backbone; i'm also catching a faint green note on the finish.
  
  While I enjoy and expect Mike's fruit driven profile, I'd like to see more structure and depth, providing more layering and depth and yielding. longer finish and ability to age.
  
  While this is certainly good and a cery easy drink, IMO Switchback's own wines (Peterson Vineyard) all deliver a more compete package / QPR.

  December 25, 2023 - Dark ruby fruit - currants, blackberry, dark cherry, and dark raspberry. Really smooth mid-palate with a nice purity and solid depth/concentration. Nice rich flavors of cassis, spice/licorice, and a little graphite component. Fairly long finish. Popped/poured but drank out of a decanter for a couple hours. Not much improvement with time but at a nice drinking point. This blend from the Peterson Family Vineyard and Kenefick Ranch really works for me. 100% cab.

  November 11, 2023 - Many thanks for the enthusiasm expressed by fellow CTers on this wine. This is a big bold, black fruited pleasure driven wine. Immediately reminded me of the regular Lewis Napa Cabernet.
  Plush blackberry jam, plums and cassis. Great depth and flavor intensity.
  This maybe a bit too much for some, but it’s an accurate representation of a Calistoga Cabernet. My palate has drifted away from this style, but I really enjoyed this one.
