January 27, 2019 - Hour decant was necessary. No tannins at all, but still some fruit left. Out of mag.

    October 12, 2018 - (Blind tasting)
Full, rich, mature nose. Black fruit. Deep and dense. Cedar, smoke and a spicy bell pepper herbaceousness. Old school style.
Medium-fullish, mature but still fresh palate with melted tannins. Classic and restrained. Black currant, cedar, herbaceous, tobacco, but also perfume. Bell pepper hint that turns out to be cabernet franc. Long finish.
We guessed on left bank, mid nineties, which turned out wrong. We liked the savoury, lighter style better than some others here.

July 12, 2018 - 1995 Bordeaux (Piccolino, Exchange Square, London): Medium/deep garnet core, pale garnet rim. Red fruit, creamy edge, touch of herb and soil. Medium bodied, creamy red fruit, soil, soft tannins, fresh acidity, nice savoury edge on good length finish. Excellent.

July 12, 2018 - 1995 Bordeaux: Slightly dusty nose. Not giving much. Smooth and more open on the palate. Resolved. No great complexity, but smooth and very drinkable. ***1/2
