  September 10, 2023 - Really enjoyed this wine. Beautiful nose of dark cherry and current dominant the beginning. Finishes with hints of cocoa and anise. This wine is very well balanced with the fruit shining through. Very nice tannic bite mid palate, with a smooth lingering finish. This wine went very well steak dinner. Very happy with this purchase and I am looking forward to trying my other two bottles in the next couple of years.

  August 25, 2023 - Young. Wanted to try the first bottle. Not very distinctive. Maybe with time it will meld together but not expecting too much more.

  July 19, 2023 - Enjoyed with a balasamic marinaded skirt steak. Excellent pairing. The wine showed very well. Still a bit of chewy tannins, but did not detract from the enjoyment. Still young and fresh as one would expect, but approachable now with some near term upside potential. I'd buy again for the $40 I paid for it.

  April 18, 2023 - Definitely a freight train, blackberry and smokey ash then the cedar and oak. Fun to drink. Oak comes out after 2 hours.
