August 8, 2015 - Dark red in color with slight bricking, nose of mature pinot with floral overtones, plummy and damp earth. Good attack and weight, a very good pinot let alone a second wine, drinking well now.

January 31, 2015 - Nez sur ronce, petits fruits rouges serrés, moka, cuir, vanille. Bouche serrée (cistercienne) sur ronce, cassis, note fumée, milieu de bouche soyeux, très jouissif, finale sur réglisse, fraises, sous-bois. Toutefois légèrement asséchante avec tannins qui auraient été appréciés moins austères, rustiques (cuvée non éraflée ???) - 92-94/100

August 2, 2009 - At le Gourmandin, Beaune. With duck. No formal note. €110 off the list. Red fruited, spicy, with floral notes showing with time in glass. Attractive, slightly gamey edge. Medium bodied, fresh, slightly crunchy red fruit, rounding and filling out with time in glass, very fine tannins, good depth here and a good length, balanced slightly savoury red fruited finish. Excellent, as is the 01 CDT.
