Bin 138 Barossa Valley Shiraz Mataro Grenache 2020
Rhône-inspirerat i sin Aussie-identitet men årgången har även Kalifornien i brödraskapet vilket här i årgången är aningen mer tydlig än i tidigare. Det klär vinet. Det är snyggt mörka, animaliska skott i shirazfrukten med tobak, mörka körsbär, plommon, mogna hallon och björnbär. Vinet har fina andningshål i detta och en mineralisk energi som ger transparens och fräschör. Blommig ört och mataroinslagen ger fint stjälkiga attribut och grenache mer yppiga fruktdrag, vilket tillsammans ger både krydda och draghjälp strukturellt. Ett underskattat Penfoldsvin som bjuder på mångfald och smakrikedom dessutom till ett beundransvärt lågt pris.1 person found this helpful Comment
