October 9, 2010 - Still going strong, with a very Bordeaux like mineral driven quality full of flint, lemon, and honey aromas. Very nice persistent, firm style of SB.

July 29, 2009 - Incredible softness belies a nicely structured wine. Great flavor and classy.

May 7, 2009 - At Deuce with the gang. A rich, somewhat honeyed nose, with acacia and a touch of oak. Rather rich style, the opposite of the 2007 Cakebread which preceded it. The finish is very dry, bordering on austere. Very nice effort.

April 23, 2009 - Deep yellow. Pretty nose of interwoven meyer lemon, pink grapefruit rind, mineral, and trace of wood spice. This wine has great brightness and length, with good core density. Refreshing and complex, and great with food.
