  December 5, 2012 - It was nice but nothing special. Smooth tannins on the finish with pretty good fruit showing. Not bad but I wouldn't want to pay the average price for the wine.

  March 25, 2012 - Quite closed compared to the others, with black currants and cherries, along with mocha. Quite tannic and closed, but plenty of acidity.

  June 11, 2011 - For the price, this was a disappointment. Poured dark with dark fruit (muted) on the nose and palate. I thought it had some 'heat' to it. Maybe after decanting, I should have let it set a couple of hours.

  January 23, 2011 - We recommend drinking this soon. Color is deep red. Not much left in the nose. Tannins have softened and it's a fine soft cab, not vegetal, no dirt/bret, etc. But it doesn't compare to their flagship/vineyard designate wines for staying power.
